Two experts in international transitions. One shared mission
We are Hanna Tauru and Sanna Juntunen, the founders of Integria.
Founded in Finland, Integria was born out of our own international assignment experiences, complementary expertise and shared values.
Throughout our careers, we have worked in international organisations and companies around the world and we have experienced international transitions from the perspectives of employees, accompaying spouses, parents, managers, coaches, and organisations.
One observation has remained constant. The administrative side of international assignments is usually well managed, but the most important part — the human transition itself — often receives far less attention. Expectations, changes to everyday life, the role of the family, and the impact of returning home are precisely the factors that research consistently identifies as critical to assignment success.
Through the Integria Success Programme™, we help companies protect their investment in international assignments.

Hanna Tauru
I am a sociologist and a career coach, with professional training in the Finnish practice of "työnohjaus" (reflective workplace coaching). Before becoming an entrepreneur, I worked for 15 years in human resources development at Fortum, one of the leading energy companies in the Nordic region. I also gained international experience working at the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in Vienna.
International transitions have also shaped my own life. I have experienced moving abroad as an employee, an accompanying spouse and a parent. When my husband's work took our family to Uruguay for three years in the midst of the global pandemic, I experienced first-hand just how much a successful transition depends on what happends beyond the practical arrangements.
At Integria, I focus particularly on changing professional roles, professional identity, and how people build meaningful careers through major transitions. I am particularly interested in how people and organisations can prepare for international transitions in ways that support both individual wellbeing and organisational goals.
My coaching approach is solution-focused and draws extensively on my background as a reflective workplace coach. My clients often describe me as a warm, approachable, and insightful, combining a practical approach with the ability to see the bigger picture.
Sanna Juntunen
I am a career transition coach with a Master's degree in Geography. Before moving into career coaching, I spent more than 20 years in international and humanitarian roles with the United Nations, the European Union, and other international organisations. My international career has taken me to 18 countries across Europe, Africa, Asia, and the Middle East.
My international career has given me a deep understanding of what it means to build a life, career, and new everyday reality in an unfamiliar environment. I have also lived and worked in challenging contexts, including Afghanistan and Somalia, where adaptation, resilience, and a sense of purpose take on particular importance.
At Integria, I focus particularly on international career transitions, cross-cultural communication, and supporting professionals working in demanding international environments. I am particularly interested in how international experience can lead to growth, learning, and lasting value for both individuals and organisations.
As a coach, I draw on my extensive experience in international environments and career transitions. My clients often describe me as calm, clear, and practical, helping them explore their options and make confident decisions, even in uncertain situations.
The name Integria combines the words integration and integrity.
Our name reflects what we believe: a successful international transition means integrating into a new environment while remaining true to your values, strengths, and identity.
Our work is guided by authenticity, integrity, trust, and respect.
We want our work to make a meaningful impact and create value for individuals, organisations, and society.
